By Registering for Pawska – you thus have agreed that you have read and understood these rules and are willing to accept the consequences of breaking these rules.

Pawska
Pawska is an annual furry convention held in Hotel Amber, in Gdansk, Poland

Section 1: Behaviour
-Each attendee is expected to generally behave in a mature and respectful manner
-Each attendee must be respectful, kind and patient with all venue staff present
-Each attendee must follow directions of VFE/Pawska/Hotel Staff
-Each attendee is expected to remain respectful with other attendees present, even if there are personal grievances
-You are responsible for your actions even under the influence of alcohol or medication. Failure to know own limits when it comes to alcohol that leads to negative incidents may lead to disciplinary actions taken
-Both VFE and hotel rules must be followed and Polish laws must be abided when present
-Pawska is an SFW event, thus behavior in convention rented spaces deemed too overly sexual is forbidden
(^In reference to above rule, it is widely accepted in the furry community that displays of affection such as hugging, cuddling, petting and minor discrete touching is accepted amongst friends and with consenting parties, and if done in a tasteful and respectable manner will be allowed)
-Any other unmentioned strange, anti-social, creepy, stalking, and/or offensive behaviour not mentioned can be sanctioned according to VFE discretion. This also includes behaviour that would be seen as absurd or strange on the street, and we ask attendees to stick to ‘acceped societal norms’ as much as possible
-It is not allowed to audibly play your own music at the public spaces at the venue from any device that can play music (Phone, bluetooth speaker, etc)
-We ask attendees to not stick any stickers on hotel property including but not limited to,doors, windows, walls, the floor, other attendees property,VFE property, cars, tables, chairs, ceiling,or anywhere in or on the hotel itself. We allow doorsigns if they are hung using ‘sticky gum’ (widely available to buy)and NOT with tape)

Section 2: Personal Dress
-Up to standard personal body and clothes hygiene is expected
-Overly sexual clothes, items, worn accesories and/or revealing clothes may be disallowed if VFE staff finds it breaks the con rules of clothes wearing conduct. It is up to their discretion
-Clothes with overly yiffy/offensive arts may be disallowed if Staff finds it so
-Clothes with political statements, general dress, flags or of such a nature that could bring the attendees, venue or anyone in danger may be disallowed. This includes statements/flags/designs/phrases that are legally allowed by Polish law, but could still bring harm to the convention
-Props and items that are sharp, blunt, are dangerous or can fire projectiles of any sort including fakes, reproductions are banned unless explicit proof is given from VolskarFurEvents
-VFE regards puphoods as a sexual item and these are NOT allowed in any public area of the con and are limited to be only worn inside the rooms
-Collars out of fursuit or Collars + leash combo can be worn in fursuit as part of being in character (if you have a dog/cat fursuit for example) If not using it in the hotel in an overly sexual way. If you however were to engage in roleplay with someone using the collar/leash in an overly sexual way; this could be disallowed
-Fursuits with over the top sexual anatomy (such as on purpose VERY large breasts, butt or bulge) will not be allowed to be worn at the convention. This is to keep relations with the hotel and public at a good level and not sexualising our convention or the fandom too much.

Section 3: Room Party Policy
Pawska wants to be a convention where attendees are free to make their own entertainment for other attendees present. Roomparties are a great way of mingling with other attendees and getting the most out of the convention, meeting new furries and having a good time after the con schedule has finished.
While we have a liberal roomparty policy – we would like to make all attendees aware of rules around roomparties.

-Roomparties of a sexual nature need to have the door closed at all times
-Roomparties that are too over the top wild or overcrowded, which could bring harm to the attendees can be shut down by con security if they feel the party is endangering the people in the room
-Roomparties can have a ‘normal’ loudness level. We see ‘normal loudness’ as music that is high in the room but considerably lower outside of the room (i.e – hallway, other neighboring rooms etc). Untill 2AM, this kind of loudness will be tolerated. After 2AM, the music should no longer be even slightly audible in the hallway or neighboring rooms. We expect each host of their own roomparty to
be the one responsible for keeping to these rules. Pawska security will do checks on loudness levels before and after 2AM
-In addition to above rule; while parties can be ‘normal loud’ up until 2AM – this does not mean hosts can purposely play over the top loud music from a high power speaker before the 2AM Music curfew. While music is allowed to be only slightly heard in neighboring rooms and the hallway, it does not mean the highest of levels may be heard. Attendees can make contact with security/conops if they feel the levels are still too loud

Section 4: Legalities & Mandatory Argreements between you and VFE
-You HAVE to be atleast 18 years of age to attend Pawska on the event date that is stated
Pawska is a furry convention and is not meant to be seen as a public event where anyone or families with childeren can attend. Only actual furries (individuals who are interested in animal anthropomorphism) and who are part of the furry fandom can attend Pawska. We have the right to cancel registrations from non-furry individuals who want to come to Pawska to treat it like a ‘day out’ or ‘just to look at the furries’. We can therefore deny access to the convention from registrants who we believe are non-furries.
-We have the right to deny registrations or discourage non-furry cosplays from individuals who want to attend from other fandoms. For example: Pawska is a furry convention by furries for furries, and have no interest in hosting bronies or wanting to accept MLP fursuits, or allow human or non-furry cosplay at our convention.
-VERY IMPORTANT ROOM BOOKING RULE: When you book a room in main; it is COMPULSORY to let us know in the event you can not arrive to the con and had to skip Pawska. This is for us to give the room to someone in the waiting list and to avoid us having to pay for your empty room. If you are Officially in the main hotel but no-show for your room without letting us know; this can lead you into being banned permanantly from ALL VFE Events including other furry events we have a partnership with. You are liable to pay VFE monetary compensation as well. By Registering for Pawska and choosing a room in the main – you have agreed to this rule including the repercussions!
-Severe and/or repeated breaking of all and any rules can result in disciplinarary action being given, anywere from verbal warnings, to written warnings, to removal from the event, to being banned, to the police possibly being called in the most severe of cases or Polish law being broken
-Incident reports and ban reports may be given to other convention organizing teams and may result in you being consequently banned there as a result
-VolskarFurEvents is not responsible for losses and damage of personal equipment, assets, items and other wealth during the event
-VolskarFurEvents will try to protect and guard attendees’ property, but can not 100% prevent or be accountable for stolen property at the event areas
-Bringing and/or using prohibited drugs of any kind under Polish law could result in being banned and/or having the police called
-VFE needs to view and use attendees’ personal information to process their registration. We look at your IRL name and DOB to validate your registration and to compare with your ID at on-site badge pickup. We avoid looking at your address and never look up where you live – we only use your address in cases of severe injury, death or other emergency that requires the need to transfer this
info to the police/consulate of your country. All your info is kept safe on a registration system seperate from the website. By registering for Pawska – you agree to all of the above
-VFE may keep attendees personal details for a short while after the event has concluded in case of any legalities that may happen after the event. However, if this is not the case – attendees personal information will be permenantly wiped untill the next round of registration starts. This rule and the above rule both comply with EU GDPR Rules.
-You are liable for any damages to hotel property, attendee property or VFE property you incur
-VolskarFurEvents can not be held liable for general or rare negative effects of attending Pawska such as; viral diseases, sexually transmitted diseases, diarrhea, headaches, nausea or other aches, pains, ilnesses that could happen as a result and were due to mixing with other attendees. When you attend Pawska you understand that there could be risks to your health. This extends to the food and drinks served by the Hotel and not by VFE; thus VFE can not be held responsible for kitchen mishaps with allergies and religious food restrictions as example, and must be made clear with Hotel Restaurant staff.
-By attending Pawska, you agree and consent to VolskarFurEvents taking pictures at the event where you may showcase in with your IRL face and body and/or in fursuit/costume. VFE has the right to distribute these images to their website, telegram group, on social media and privately. However, in case of yourself being portrayed in a manner that would portray you in a negative or untasteful way, you have the right to contact VFE to get any undesireable pictures/footage removed if VFE agrees you were portrayed in such a way

Section 5 – Registration and miscellaneous Rules
-It is mandatory to Register to attend Pawska
-It is mandatory to have paid during registration for Pawska, with ALL information filled out correctly and truthfully. Not doing so may cause inconcenience for you and us, but purposely being negligent during filling in registration form could end up having your registration cancelled
-It is mandatory to bring photographic ID when attending Pawska at the registration table
-Each attendee gets given a badge and lanyard; this MUST be worn at ALL TIMES when in all hotel spaces including at roomparties, for your and our safety and to show that you are an official registrant at the event

-The SuperSponsor shirt is received ONLY when you SuperSponsor the convention. It is impossible to receive this shirt seperately. By not SuperSponsoring; you understand it is impossible to attain this shirt and that you have no right to attempt to purchase it seperately

Section 6: Refunds
Pawska is one of the few conventions that has a generous refund policy. Most cons do not offer any type of monetary compensation at all for cancelled Registrations. Pawska understand that sometimes plans change due to changes in life after having first registered (death in the family, family emergency, loss of job, etc)

To qualify for a refund – you MUST let us know via ticket or email. We do not give automatic refunds for people who no-show.

See below for our Refund Policy dates: *Please note that when the lower refund date is surpassed, that the refund percentage for the next date will be active. E.g. if you let your cancellation known before 1 August, you can get 80% of your confee returned, but if you wait untill 15 August, the 1 September deadline of 70% will be the active condition etc)

Cancellation before 1 August:* 80% of Confee Refunded.
Cancellation before 1 September:* 70% of Confee Refunded
Cancellation before 1 October:* 60% of Confee Refunded
Cancellation before 1 November:* 50% of Confee Refunded
Cancellation before 10 November:* 33% of Confee Refunded
Cancellation After 10 November:* 20% of Confee Refunded
Cancellation After 22 November:* 0% of Confee Refunded

Conclusion of Rules
We wanted to thank you for reading through these rules and hope you understand them and are commited to following them. Many of the rules are for ‘just in case’ and we are not expecting our attendees to break them en-masse. Creating events in the furry fandom comes with a lot of work and responsibility, and since they come with risks we have rules in place to protect ourselves, the con staff, the venue, the venue staff and the attendees. We are always open to dialogue about our rules, how to amend them and what to change and/or add. But to ensure a high quality and safe events; we have to enforce these rules.
