What is it about?
In 2022 – The Chairman of VFE wanted to celebrate that furry conventions were able to flourish again after 2 years of almost no furry conventions due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Roomparties have always been an important piece of furry culture in the fandom and especially at Gdakon historically. That’s why Volskar decided to host a ‘Jungle Juice Party’ based in ‘Tipsy Bartender’s Youtube Videos that went viral where he films himself making large alcoholic concoctions in bath tubs and storage equipment. Volskar hosted his first Jungle Juice Party in the Appartment room of a friend at Gdakon. It attracted 1/3 of the convention and became a massive hit, went viral and brought countless memes. The Groupchat was born from it and it was held at Gdakon 2 more times untill it permenantly moved to SloFluffCon from 2023 onwards as an official event on their con schedule.
Current Status
The Jungle Juice Party is held as an Official VFE Event on the convention schedule of SloFluffCon. The Party used to be held in an appartment room at the 2023 & 2024 editions of the con – but now the Jungle Juice Party is held on the main stage.
The Jungle Juice Party gives the attendees of SFC a great time at the convention by not having to worry about buying drinks and instead enjoying the great atmosphere our great event brings that brings people together to enjoy our concoction at the convention. VFE & SFC have enjoyed their strategic partnership for 3 editions now and VFE even has some of their staff on the roster at SFC and SFC in return highlights VFE with our other events such as Pawska & Poznan Furry Gathering. SFC also brings their main stage to VFE for each edition to lend Pawska a proper professional main stage for our attendees as well.
